If you are a Skinner and/or a Leatherworker in the Burning Crusade you probably already know all about Cobra Scales. Gained by skinning one of three types of snakes on the shattered planet of Draenor, these go into crafting some really awesome gear for both Rogues and Druids.

A while back we hinted that we were working on implementing Guild banks into the game, which was a feature originally intended for The Burning Crusade that was postponed for a later patch: http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=894609

A lot of work has gone underway since then and now we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. The Guild bank feature is still being worked on, however it is currently scheduled for release in the future patch 2.3.

The film should be out in 2009. they are drawn to the world because of the beauty of the Warcraft world. This movie is very important to them, they want to be true to the game and the fan base.

# Kalimdor changed in shape significantly. No longer looking quite so much like a penguin, it now has a more crescent-shaped profile.
# Two new islands off the southwest coast of the Eastern Kingdoms.
# New bit of land north of Westfall, west of Stormwind on the west coast of EK.
# Islands Northwest of Tirisfal removed, and two small ones added north of Scarlet Monestary

There were not one but two PR people hovering around the developers, so even they had to stop themselves from revealing secrets, but they did provide a lot of background and a lot of clarification about what players want to know about Wrath of the Lich King and Blizzard behind the scenes.

Yes indeed, in the very near future we will be heading to Northrend, playing what they term in the schedule of events as "World of Warcraft Expansion II," also known as Wrath of the Lich King.

A nice cool new feature up on WoWDigger.com which allows you to add theoritical gear to your character profiles based on what your class/charcater can equip. Nice way to keep track of cool items you are looking for.

Clearly, this is economic activity on a global scale. But with so much of the activity taking places on the fringes of the Internet, the possibilities of scams and abuse are rampant. Enter, if you will, the dark side of online gaming.

Are you addicted to WoW? Warcraft addictions seem to be fairly common. I’m definitely not saying there is anything wrong with video game addictions. We all need to have at least one addiction or two in life. Video game addiction is better for you than say an addiction to crack or meth, plus video games don’t turn your lips purple, at least in most cases anyway.

Of the three rewards coming to the TCG loot cards, this Spectral Tiger Mount probably got the most attention-- not only is it a sweet looking mount (ok, it's a freaking amazing looking mount)

I can't speak to dual boxing as much as 5 boxing but I did put together a VERY detailed writeup on exactly how I used to 5 box. I now 10 box - using the same basic hardware and setup but with more computers and a more complex setup. Check out the writeup.

Blizzard fans: part of my earlier interview with Rob Pardo, Blizzard vice president of game design.Keep in mind, Blizzard wouldn’t let us film the actual demonstration Rob was showing us (a new dungeon, six new bosses, lots of great new stuff…)

"Why do we only have four battlegrounds in World of Warcraft?" has been a consistently popping question in the WoW forums. You'd think that with all the complaints players have been fielding, this would be the last thing they'd be asking for, but apparently some just want more battlegrounds.

Blizzard was there at E3 not only to talk about all things StarCraft-ian, but also to update folks on the next set of planned updates for their hugely popular MMO, World of Warcraft. In this case, the big news is the introduction of Zul'Aman to the World of Warcraft, as well as some minor updates about the future of voice chat and guild banks in the game.

As most will have noticed by now, there are quite a few issues that have to be addressed in World of Warcraft for patch 2.1.3. Before you go reporting these problems to a GM, you might want to read through this first lest you find yourself wasting your precious time.
