The site is a virtual-world version of the classifieds sections of real-world newspapers and real-world sites such as craigslist.org. Sometimes reposting your lastest Epic BOE drop on the auction house until it sells isn’t the best idea — all those auction house deposits add up.

Marilyn has an interesting point over at WoW Ladies: if you see her grinding Consortium rep and taking on three mobs at a time in Netherstorm, leave her alone-- it's all under control. I sometimes have this same problem as a resto Shaman....

A signature for your favorite World of Warcraft character. It includes his/her title, name, level, race, class, realm, battlegroup, and guild information. Pretty cool!

A full review of WoW and Warcrafts end game. What to do now that you hit the level cap. Players who have reached level sixty can work on several things for their character in the end game of Warcraft. The two biggest that come to mind are PvP and raids. Warcraft’s end game is not based on achieving skills for your character, but on getting loot that will boost your character’s abilities. Simply put, it is all about your gear.

All too familiar with hackers looking to exploit security flaws in its software, Microsoft warned video game developers Monday that their PC games are now a target for criminals.
Popular massively multiplayer online games, such as World of Warcraft, have created a market for valuable game identities loaded with gold or other hard-earned forms of in-game currency that can be used to buy new weapons, magic spells or other trappings to advance within the game.

Has the thought of leaving World of Warcraft crossed your mind? Or did you leave it already? Have your lifestyle declined since you started playing or has it improved? Tell us why you hate WoW or why you left it already.

You might not be aware of this, but the ever-autocratic Chinese government has had a system in place since last August preventing individuals from playing online games for more than three consecutive hours. The system, by law, is installed in every online game in the country.

With the Talent Calculator Search function you will now be able to search through the thousands of saved talent trees submitted by community members. You can do a key word search or a level search. I love this thing!

This is a interesting post about leadership in world of warcraft. The goes into talking about his guild specificly and how tedious it is to maintain one, how many different people make up all the roles, and setting up and running raids. Check it out.

Now that E3’s cloud of press releases and promotional information has settled, we finally have more solid information about The Burning Crusade. Even with the new information released, I’m still underwhelmed by Blizzard’s showing. Sure, they showcased the upcoming patch 1.11 and expansion, but they did little else to show that they do indeed have any sort of long-term plan for World of Warcraft...

A great writeup. Have a overview of everything that has happened the past week or so. From rumors, to E3, to future patches, to new events coming up.

They do have some clever bots these days. Bots hae been around for a long time. Some are better than others, and some are so good, at first you don't even notice/consider it. But you hang out for a while and watch them, you start to see the patterns.

First off what kind of parent allows their kid to play any game or even stay up for 36 hours! I call BS lawsuit on this story. This kid had more problems then WoW to contend with, mental issues. A 13 year old boy killed himself in China after playing World of Warcraft for 36 straight hours in 2004. They are suing the local distributor, Aomeisoft, for 100,000 Yuan (approximately $12,500).

As a sort of addendum to the news post a few days ago, concerning IGE buying out Allakhazam, I thought I'd mention a similar site, Goblin's Workshop, that collects data like thottbot and Alla but isn't, to my knowledge, owned by IGE. Those interested in a boycott might be interested in this. A data collector add-on is also available for download on the website.

ome are suffering long delays to get into the game, others report countless small hold-ups during play and the disappearance of the interactive parts of the Warcraft world.
Intermittent server crashes have thrown players out of the game at key moments. To answer criticisms, Warcraft maker Blizzard has posted a long explanation of how it is tackling the glitches.

IGE bought thotbott, allakhazam, and a bunch of other websites. Working to integrate all of their web properties (Ogaming, Thottbot, and Allakhazam), IGE today announced plans to create a new super-network, Zam.com. This new MMO network is being spun to the community as if Allakhazam had purchased Ogaming when it was himself who was bought out. We thought the truth should be known. This is make it a lot easier to avoid the whole network, wherever you see ZAM.com.
