The Armory now supports the new Player Calendar, one of the new features added to the game in patch 3.0.2: Echoes of Doom. The Player Calendar allows players to create their own events such as raids, arena matches, and guild meetings, and keep track of the many activities in the worlds of Azeroth and Outland.

According to the Patch 3.0.3 patch notes, the Druid Swift Flight Form, Paladin Charger, and Warlock Dreadsteed spells will soon become trainable. Before you all celebrate (or throw out invectives...), it should be noted that these spells will only become available at a level above the minimum required level to obtain the mounts or form and will require the appropriate riding skill.

So i was browsing the glider (WoW bot forums) the other day, and stumbled across something quite shocking. It was a "success" thread, posted by a guy over in Germany, who has turned gliding/gold selling in to a living. In Australia, and bummed you can't make it up to the states for BlizzCon? You too can experience it virtually -- while DirecTV has a deal to carry it on pay-per-view in the US, Foxtel has apparently landed the same agreement in Oz. For $14.95 a day!

Why are you now allowing character transfers from PvE realms to PvP realms? Because World of Warcraft has matured significantly since the inception of Paid Character Transfers, we don’t feel that PvE-to-PvP transfers will have the negative impact on the game that we initially wanted to avoid when we started the service in 2006. This change will provide more mobility and freedom for players to experience the game with friends or play in the type of environment they’re looking for.

Junkies, members that we have verified to have competed on a 2,000 rated team or above, will have the option of restricting potential team mates to anyone else who has 2k+ experience as well. We fill out lots of the fields with information we already know about your character.

While I know a lot of folks already have their bear mounts, in my opinion, this change kind of sucks. I have a small raiding Guild who I've been working with to get our bear mounts (with a few bumps along the way).

From the start of the Olympics (Today) to the end of the Olympics (August 24th) we will have a 2v2 and 3v3 Arena Competition. Teams will be competing for 5 Wrath of the Lich King Beta Keys and 20 WWI Paris 2008 Cards. Yes - These are the extremely rare and coveted cards that award Tyrael's Hilt which summons a mini Tyrael pet along with a WoTLK beta key.

World of Warcraft Community, image I am writing to inform you that we have launched a new website that will aid all arena teams and players. It is an easy way to LFG/LFM for arena. Once you sign up and add your character, your stats and items will automatically be displayed for others to view, then just select what kind of team you are looking for 2v2, 3v3, and/or 5v5 and you will placed on the LFG list on your server.

Twinking means getting the best gear possible for your lower level character. Most often it is done in order to dominate that battle grounds of your level bracket. If you plan to make a character for a specific level, it's a good idea to plan ahead. Many items can be purchased off the AH but some of the best items are from quests or dungeons. You don't want to over shoot and gain too much experience so that you ding, leaving all that time wasted.
