So instead of covering this in flowery fill-in text - I'm just going to get down to the nitty gritty. We spent some time talking to the Lead Technical Designer for World of Warcraft. In fact, this is the same designer that did all the strategy, tech, and logistics behind Skeram and Sartura in Anh'Qiraj. He was very willing to talk to us and showed us some of the high points from Burning Crusade and patch 1.11

I played through the first few levels as a Blood Elf Mage at E3 today. As a veteran of every other newbie land, I have to say that starting from scratch as a Blood Elf has a similar feel to the other races -- there's only so much you can do as a newbie, after all.

The BBC News has a article on WoW, and how they are looking to expand the game and give more options to those have have hit the level cap. Hence, the reason for the expansion back, right. Anyways, its a good quick read, talks about how they will add a significant amount of new content to play through, including flying mounts, new races and a new profession. As well as the level cap going up to 70.
