"Last night several realms did experience technical issues in regard to an exploit. This exploit was hot fixed within a couple of hours after it was discovered and the problem no longer exists."
Damron wouldn't specify what caused the bug, but we have since heard it may involve a problem with the user logging mechanism in the game's arena mode. We won't go into more detail because the internet already suffers enough entropy, thank you very much.

After witnessing all the choreographed dance moves, Murloc-mimicking, and creative costume pageantry, the cream of the crop has been justly rewarded. In addition, the many colorful entrants in the Costume Contest have been captured for posterity in a special gallery. Congratulations to the winners of the dance, sound-alike, and costume contests for BlizzCon 2007!

Fires of Outland is the latest set for the World of Warcraft TCG, and it features the most exciting in-game Loot items yet. Set up a Goblin Gumbo stand and distribute Landro Longshot’s secret recipe to members of your party. When they eat it, they’ll belch green gas with a loud burping sound. The Fishing Chair gives you a comfortable seat to relax in while you fish, and it even comes with its own umbrella for shade.

In the next major content patch, the combat rating, resilience, will also reduce the damage dealt by damage over time (DoT) effects. As it currently stands, each new tier of equipment adds to the amount of damage DoT abilities have, yet that damage is not mitigated through combat ratings found on typical equipment. This change will help ensure that DoT effects do not scale too well compared to other damage mechanics.

The official TCG site has just wrapped up an interview with Danny Mandel, the lead designer for the card game. He reveals a few interesting bits of information about the game:
* Race will matter more in the card game than it does in the online game. In the online game, with a few circumstantial exceptions, race doesn't affect the game play very much. It sounds like racial abilities will be more powerful and used more often in the card game.

Blizzard banned over 30,000 accounts in the month of May, and with that removed well over 30 million gold from the economy across all realms. Botters, goldfarmers, and cheaters were all banned. Though Blizzard has a firm stance of not telling the reporting parties what action they took against the reportees, it seems that they do actually do some foot work, even if it's never quite enough to keep up.
