Okay. We all have opinons on the game, BC, rep-grinds, ganking, RPing, Lame Quests ... you name it!
So let's put your MUSTARD to the TEST. (hmmm)
YOU get invited to Blizzard HQ in sunny southern Kali and get to work with a custom team of programmers to implement ONE and ONLY ONE QUEST. This baby is YOURS! =)

A common complaint among players in World of Warcraft is the AFK'ers in Battlegrounds. The AFK'ers would just join the battle and wait in the bunkers or the cave to see which side will win; if it's their group, they quickly join in to reap the rewards.

"One at a time please." If you're a first time World of Warcraft Shaman and found that the global cooldown for totem popping (sorry, it's this writer's expression) is a trifle too much, you might want to revel in a little Shammy lore. If the true count of deployed elemental totems eludes your mental grasp, experienced Shammies say you get to drop one totem for each element and that is all.

layers of World of Warcraft have discovered an exploit that allows them to crash any realm in WoW, and they are now wreaking havoc on all servers. The exploit crashes the main worlds and all instances associated with the realm, including dungeon and arena servers. Tichondrius, alone, has been crashed over 10 times tonight, and the general mood of the server is anything but happy.

From all evidence, the growth is coming from the western market, contrary to what many MMO bloggers have been posting. The Burning Crusade has not launched in China yet, where WoW pulls in a few million of the current total user base! The ten million mark is not that far off, and TBC's launch in China may just be the spur to get it there. I firmly believe, and have for some time, that World of Warcraft will hit ten million by year's end.

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade will be getting a new instance soon, and RPGamer talked to Blizzard at E3 in order to get you some of the details of what to expect. Zul'Aman will be a 10 person RAID instance where players will ultimately fight Zul'Jin.

I have done a ton of reading about the problem, and there is no Blizzard rep acknowledging the problem. There are several lengthy posts from angry players trying to diagnose the problem themselves. It is not router, modem, or ISP related. It is not caused by AddOns, files, or faulty Warcraft installations. It is a fuggin mystery currently.

"Why do we only have four battlegrounds in World of Warcraft?" has been a consistently popping question in the WoW forums. You'd think that with all the complaints players have been fielding, this would be the last thing they'd be asking for, but apparently some just want more battlegrounds.

As most will have noticed by now, there are quite a few issues that have to be addressed in World of Warcraft for patch 2.1.3. Before you go reporting these problems to a GM, you might want to read through this first lest you find yourself wasting your precious time.

These leaves me stuck at a crossroads. Should I drop my 300 enchanting for mining, or should I just suck it up and pay my way through the grind for blacksmithing? I want to lean towards mining, because it can be a great source of revenue. At the same time, I know how to work the auction house with dis-enchanting to make gold. Also, it sucks not being able to disenchant soul bound items that you finish using.

We unfortunately don't know much about what's coming next, but we do know one thing that's scheduled to show up, at least before the next expansion: some sort of housing. All the Blue hints point to guild housing, but player housing is an idea that's been tossed around as well.

In the next major content patch, the combat rating, resilience, will also reduce the damage dealt by damage over time (DoT) effects. As it currently stands, each new tier of equipment adds to the amount of damage DoT abilities have, yet that damage is not mitigated through combat ratings found on typical equipment. This change will help ensure that DoT effects do not scale too well compared to other damage mechanics.

# In-game mail containing money will now have a one hour delay and is no longer instantaneous. Auction House generated emails for successful auction sales are still instantaneous.
# Read in-game mail will now be kept for thirty days instead of three. For all the patch notes, click the link.

I have started using the website WoWBreak to get my World of Warcraft news. There are tons of WoW news sites, but this one is built on the same idea of Digg. Users submit stories and then "vote" for them to appear on the homepage.
The site works relatively well and provides a good daily does of news for WoW.

In World of Warcraft's current PvP implementation, player's set a goal to get a certain PvP reward, they grind, and they achieve. Just as player's pick a quest, see the possible rewards, and then determine if it is really worth their trouble. However, this breaks down when it comes to randomly dropped equipment in dungeons. A player could be lucky and get it the first time through, while another player could do several runs before even having a chance at the item in question.

Addicted? Sheez. "The problem with massive online games is that they're full of other people. In order to bypass the need for interaction and reliance on outsiders, one gamer (and, get this, his girlfriend) decided to take on the responsibilities of an entire World of Warcraft guild himself. "

Rollie has posted his June concurrency numbers over at WarcraftRealms.com. The numbers indicate that the drop in activity in May has ended with a turnaround in June. June player activity is up sharply and WoW is still maintaining a higher player activity level than prior to The Burning Crusades launch. All positive signs that TBC is being played more often and by more players than the original game.
