The front cover of the upcoming World of Warcraft: Rise of the Horde pocketbook is now revealed. The book will cover the story of the Eredar and Draenei, their exile, and the story of the Orcs before coming to Azeroth. Many orc heroes will make appearances. Interview with author on November.

Blizzard Entertainment and Pocket Star Books announced the novelization of Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal. Aaron Rosenberg is writing the novel based on this RTS game expansion. The new book is titled World of Warcraft: Beyond the Dark Portal. Lore fans are very happy!

A worldwide team of 3D modelers and animator professionals is gathering to start a High Quality Starcraft CGI animated movie made by fans for the fans. If that alone isn't news, recently some Hollywood professionals have interest in joining the team. The project is non-profit and seeks to be safe in the legal field radar.

Realm Designs is developing a total conversion mod for Warcraft III, bringing to 3D taste the Warcraft: Orcs and Humans (WC1) original game released back on 1994. Once they are done, there won't be anything left of Warcraft III content as everything from buildings, units, voice acting, cinematics, tilesets, interface and animations will be remade to tell a custom storyline set during the first war.
