The latest WoW battle plan has been released over on the General forums.
Highlights include:
-New sites (which means more servers)
-Higher player caps (Burning Crusade)
-Paid character transfer
-Tuesday maintenance, authentication issues, etc.

Blizzplanet has reported that the World of Warcraft comic is now official and on the DC Comics website. The new series will be written by Walter Simonson with art by Ludo Lullabi and Sandra Hope, a Cover by Jim Lee and a first issue variant cover by Samwise Didier. You can purchase the comic right now on the DC Comics Website with the first issue set to hit shelves November 14th, 2007. The subscription will cost $23.99 for 12 months.

Blizzard Entertainment last week said it would upgrade its authentication servers to solve log-in and availability problems that have dogged the company's online multi-player orld of Warcraftgame. The new platform should help alleviate the login issues that players have experienced, including both forum- and game-login processes.

World of Warcraft says it is planning to upgrade its authentication servers to address performance problems that have plagued the popular online game in recent weeks. With more than 6 million subscribers, World of Warcraft has been struggling with login problems since the game's authentication system crashed on April 7.

A post on the official World of Warcraft site from WoW's Lead Producer, Shane Dabiri details Blizzard's plans for Azeroth in the coming months. Dabiri mentions that paid character transfers -- which will allow players (for a fee) to transfer their character from one realm to another -- are "Scheduled to go live this summer, this feature will allow players to move their characters, within certain restrictions, to a realm of their choosing.
