The 2.4.3 patch notes have some pretty incredible changes coming up. A level 30 mount? CHECK! Rogue's "Cheat Death" talent being reigned in? CHECK! For Cheat Death... "If the Rogue is below 10% health, the killing blow is still completely absorbed; if the Rogue is over 10% health, enough damage will be absorbed to reduce the Rogue’s health down to 10%."

Before 2.4.2 is even up on PTRs, MMO-Champion and World of Raids have undocumented changes listed on their sites. That's dedication! Of course, given that none of this can be verified, you should take it with a grain of salt, but most of the time changes found in the game files end up going live. Here's what's been noticed so far:

Wowhead has done a great job linking each affected patch item to its respective spell/skill/item/etc. This gives you an immediate way to recognize directly what is affected.
Bravo to Wowhead!

Blizzard Poster/ Community Manager Vaneras on the WoW Europe Forums finally gave word that Guild Banks will be in the 2.3 patch. Currently though, it is still being worked on by the developers. Hopefully, they will make good on their promise of introducing this since a lot of guild members in the WoW community have been complaining about lack of space for their items.

This one change in patch 2.1.3 makes my Auction House work a lot easier than it was before the patch went in.

Some of the new features to be included in the release include built-in voice chat and video recording capabilities, along with the introduction of an official Guild Bank to support the guild management player base. Patch 2.2 notes are linked to this entry and information about how to become a player tester is available too.

WoW v2.2 software sports the ability to record in-game video to QuickTime using H.264, Motion JPEG or Pixlet codecs, and you can specify resolution and frame rate. Blizzard notes that not all Macs have enough performance to smoothly capture video at a high frame rate; the company cautions that users will have to find good settings for each system. The new functionality requires Mac OS X v10.4.9 or later and QuickTime 7.1.6 or later.

(Disclaimer: These patch notes are for the Public Test Realm and the content of the patch is subject to change. Approximately 125 megabytes of extraneous data files have been included with this patch in preparation for the global changes that will arrive with the World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade expansion.)

The public test realms (PTRs) are now live featuring the changes coming in patch 1.10.2, which you can read about in the patch notes. We have seen a profound benefit with offering major patches on the PTRs, and although this is a minor patch, we believe the benefits will apply to it as well. You can copy your character or use one of the template characters and help us test the upcoming changes by visiting the Public Test Realm Page.
