Hortus announced this morning that the PTRs were going offline, concluding public testing for patch 2.2. To me, this means we're going to see patch 2.2 coming our way very soon -- perhaps as early as next week! However, we have known Blizzard to close the PTRs weeks in advance of an official patch release, so a final date continues to elude us.

The Ashbringer, who's lore is often expounded on by theorizing fans, is probably the single most talked-about item in the melee scene. Because of its rather incomplete history, people believed that the story would continue in Outland, for players were advised of another Mograine son within World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade territory that could aid in attaining the sword in its uncorrupted state.

Want some real life epics? The J!NX Clothing Company has jusust announced a new line of t-shirts designed for classes from the World of Warcraft. The current additions to the J!NX WoW line are Shaman, Paladin, Priest, and Druid. Now players of those classes can show off their love for their class of choice. The designs are pretty cool, as they have the respective classes' logos on them. Anyway, the t-shirts are priced at US$ 17.99 to US$ 20.99.

Remember those DC Unlimited action figures of the World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade displayed at the DC booth during the San Diego Comic Con? Well, they're finally being showcased on the Blizzard website. Alongside with the first set of the series, the entire line of action figures made by DC Unlimited seem like a pretty collection you'll definitely want to display on your personal trophy shelf.

Its no secret that here at World of Warcraft Armory, I loves me some rogues. So since I just read an interesting article about a big rogue post on the European official forums, I figured I should share it. It is a big list of concerns for the rogue class. As you know, this is something I would be quite interested in.

Blizzard may be in the trenches at Leipzig showing off the new expansion and StarCraft II, but that doesn't mean the World of Warcraft Community Managers are slacking off. There have been a few posts today that have provided answers to questions players have had about topics ranging from new character models to solo instances.

Thousands of funny conversations happen in the World of Warcraft every day. Just by looking at the multitude of available videos that can make anyone laugh, we know that plenty of humor can be found from millions of WoW citizens. To record the hilarity in the pages of history, someone going by the name Furism decided to make a website compiling all lulz-worthy conversations from any MMORPGs

A nice cool new feature up on WoWDigger.com which allows you to add theoritical gear to your character profiles based on what your class/charcater can equip. Nice way to keep track of cool items you are looking for.

I have done a ton of reading about the problem, and there is no Blizzard rep acknowledging the problem. There are several lengthy posts from angry players trying to diagnose the problem themselves. It is not router, modem, or ISP related. It is not caused by AddOns, files, or faulty Warcraft installations. It is a fuggin mystery currently.

It's a pretty well done feature, too. WoW Insider's Paul Sherrard took the recorder for a test drive, and created what you see above (after a little bit of iMovie fiddling). The options are pretty impressive for an ingame vid capture as well-- you can control whether the UI or cursor is seen or not, and you even get a choice of codecs (including H.264, Pixlet, or Motion JPEG). Karazhan is one of the new raid instances that came out with World of Warcraft's Burning Crusade expansion. It is a 10-person raid and has a lot of interesting challenges and a boatload of sweet loot just waiting to be found! The catch of course is that there is a long chain of quests before you can get into Karazhan. Want to get into Medivh’s home and reap the treasure? Follow these helpful tips and get started.

Much of World of Warcraft can be played solo, even up and past level 70. But if you want to experience some of the broader aspects of the game, then it’s time to start interacting with other players on a social level, especially if you want to continue on to the endgame once you are past level 70. You must have the social skills and the desire to interact with other players....

Regardless of how you personally feel about World of Warcraft, it remains one of the most popular games, ever. With this sort of popularity, you can expect nothing less than unbridled passion from its gaming legions. That being said, the World of Warcraft forums are literally exploding. The gaming community is up in arms, and nothing short of blood will keep them from “fixing the game.
