To choose the aldor as your faction you'll have to first complete the Shattrath City introduction quest. Once you've had the grand tour of the place simply talk to Khadgar, he will allow you to choose either the scryers or aldor at this point. Make sure you don't choose the wrong one because it is incredibly difficult, time consuming, and expensive to change your reputation later.

Everybody knows about Warcraftmovies.com. They are the premier WoW video/movie website and they basically own the WoW movie scene, and own it well. I love the site. Well, it seems they have partnered with Magelo.com, which is a new WoW profiling website, and I must say, Magelo.com looks VERY interesting. "This week I have a question about rolling, as in /roll, and the proper use of it. I was recently on a run of Zul'Farrak with my Shaman, a guildmate Fury Warrior, a Healadin, and a Tankadin...Whenever a Blue item would drop everyone would pass and we would discuss it. This is generally not a practice I approve of (The Need and Greed buttons are there for a reason, blizzard was nice enough to provide them) but that was the group's consensus so I kept my mouth shut and did it."

The scryers are one of two main factions in the Burning Crusade (the other is aldor). Both of these factions provide great rewards, but as they are at war with each other you can only pick one. As you gain reputation with the scryers your reputation will go down with the aldor, and vice versa.

Suddenly I discovered that two of my characters had a tag in the chat (i have a little channel to show errors and whispers received from all chars, using an addon). I played a bit round checking different things, and then decided to write another gm ticket to tell them to "fix" my account again, i was pretty scared for a ban, because i was so damn curious :p
