Useless abilities. We all have them. Sometimes we get them as we level up, sometimes we spend talent points on them. They plague our talent trees and our action bars.

In anticipation of "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," Disgraph's latest comic is an homage to the 2nd movie in the Jones franchise, the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Enjoy!

This is my own article that I wrote and published back on 7/25/06. It was originally posted on the WoW General Forums and had 3 Blue responses and 15+ pages of replies. That thread was lost when the WoW Forums got a new design. I developed a (jokingly, yet true) fitness program for WoW players to help them keep in shape even when playing the game. The responses on the General Forums prompted me to also write Part B, which is accessible from the link.

My original article I published on my gaming website blog back on 8/25/06. This is my joking proposition of Blizzard's next World of Warcraft expansion: THE RETURN TO GNOMEREGAN! The only way we gnomes will ever be able to take back Gnomeregan for good is by getting gnome druids as a playable race/class combo so we can use the Cure Poison ability on the city. Comes complete with Photoshopped images I created of what gnome druids would look like along with the expansion cover design.

Blogger Melmoth posed this question last week and the answers just keep getting better: what if real life had an MMO UI over it? Here are some of his proposed answers:

First we grind the levels. Then we grind the faction. Then we grind the gold. Then we grind the instances for high end loot drops. We also grind out Arena points, crafting levels, bandages for the war (remember those!), potions for the raid, ogres for the Talbulk mount and the daily quests for the flying space ray manta aether thingie from space.....

Yep, the madness is spreading. Some guy has just spent almost £5,000 to buy a souped up character off another player in the online roleplaying phenomenon, World of Warcraft.
The character, a rogue, came wielding the much prized Twin Blades of Azzinoth [above], which drop off big baddie Illidan Stormrage from the The Black Temple. As if you didn’t know.

Owning this hat enters you into a very exclusive club, a club that only allows people who have way too much time to do meaningless things in video games to get even more meaningless items. However, the hat is still freakin cool.

In World of Warcraft, even an Orc can love. While most people would consider Orcs as brutish individuals, they feel loss every time their mate is called off to fight against the Alliance.

We already know that South Park's homage to World of Warcraft is one of the best episodes ever, but now the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences may agree because the episode "Make Love, Not Warcraft" just received an Emmy nomination.

Found this on a random, late-night YouTube journey. It’s eight minutes of dorked out laughs with that Simpsons touch of humor. Marge and Bart end up playing together in an MMORPG that closely resembles WoW. Good laughs.

China's drive to impose social and political "harmony" on the internet has claimed a new set of victims: undead skeletons. Chinese players of World of Warcraft, a hugely popular online role-playing game, have expressed outrage after their 'undead skeleton' characters were suddenly clad in new flesh, apparently in order to comply with a secret government ban on bare bones. Nuts.

Addicted? Sheez. "The problem with massive online games is that they're full of other people. In order to bypass the need for interaction and reliance on outsiders, one gamer (and, get this, his girlfriend) decided to take on the responsibilities of an entire World of Warcraft guild himself. "

exico City, Mexico-(MH)-Mexican World of Warcraft player Bronco Carson reported to local police on Saturday that 3 men broke into his home and beat his arms with clubs and smashed his computer. It was supposedly in retaliation for Carson stalking and repeatedly killing one of the attackers wife’s character during computer video game play.
