Blizzard released Shadowmoon Valley in World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade. Illidan the Betrayer is to be ruling Outland from the Black Temple dungeon. Maiev Shadowsong and Akama from Warcraft III: Frozen Throne show up as NPCs in this new region. Check out screenshots and video of Maiev and Akama.

Norgannon and Thrall Transfers Rescheduled

The previously announced character transfers to the new realms Norgannon and Thrall have been rescheduled to now begin on Monday, April 17th at 3:00 AM PDT and will end on Thursday, April 20th at 3:00 PM PDT. If you're planning to take advantage of these transfers we highly recommend doing so at the first available opportunity.

Thiss ite article talks about the weather effects introduced in patch 1.10, MTV reports that Blizzard is working on a worldwide invasion of the undead. The mention, a brief, one line sidenote in an article of lead designer Jeff Kaplan's comments, is likely a world event that should be introduced in a major patch before the Burning Crusade expansion pack is released.
